Memahami Pompa Benam ( Submersible Pump )

Seperti Nostalgia saja, hari ini saya menerima laporan dari bagian Maintenance satu Pompa Submersible yang dimiliki perusahaan bermasalah.  Saya teringat dengan kejadian yang samasetahun lalu saat bekerja di industri pengolahan makanan di Denpasar, pompa submersible yang mensuplai air untuk proses produksi debitnya turun drastis, dari beberapa pompa, titik inilah yang memiliki debit terbesar. akibatnya cadangan air yang kami miliki benar-benar minim.  Perlu anda ketahui industri pengolahan makanan memerlukan air dalam jumlah besar per hari, mengingat kejadian itu, benar-benar merepotkan. Endingnya kurang lebih mirip, diangkat, bagian maintenance melakukan cleaning, sialnya saat dipasang kembali, ternyata tetap tidak berfungsi bahkan mati total.

Pompa Submersible (pompa benam) disebut juga dengan electric submersible pump (ESP ) adalah pompa yang dioperasikan di dalam air dan akan mengalami kerusakan jika dioperasikan dalam keadaan tidak terdapat air terus-menerus. Jenis pompa ini mempunyai tinggi minimal air yang dapat dipompa dan harus dipenuhi ketika bekerja agar life time pompa tersebut lama. Pompa jenis ini bertipe pompa sentrifugal. Pompa sentrifugal sendiri prinsip kerjanya mengubah energi kinetis (kecepatan) cairan menjadi energi potensial (dinamis) melalui suatu impeller yang berputar dalam casing.
 
Komponen Pompa Submersible
Prinsip kerja pompa jenis ini berbeda dengan jenis Jet Pump. Jika pompa yang saya sebut erakhir bekerja dengan cara menyedot air, jenis pompa submersible bekrja dengan mendorong air ke permukaan.
Berikut kelebihan dari jenis pompa submersible :
1.  Biaya perwatan pompa yang rendah
2.  Tidak bising, karena berada dalam sumur
3.  Pompa memiliki pendingin alami, karena pompa posisinya terendam dalam air
4. System pompa tidak menggunakan shaft penggerak yang panjang dan bearing, jadi  problem yang biasa terjadi pada pompa permukaan ( Jet Pump ) seperti keausan bearing dan shaft tidak terjadi.

Langkah Perbaikan  Pompa Submersible


Debit air yang lebih kecil merupakan tanda-tanda pompa mengalami masalah. Jika tidak ditangani  masalah matinya pompa tinggal menunggu waktu.
Untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang terjadi, berikut langkah yang pernah dan biasa kami lakukan.
1. Jika pompa mati, cek Capasitor. Ganti terlebih dahulu jika komponen ini  tidak berfungsi.
2. Sambil di running, cek Ampere kabel power saat  pompa running. Jika lebih cukup tinggi ( > 10 A ) ada beberapa kemungkinan, 1)  motor mendapat beban cukup berat. ( Benda asing  seperti  endapan tanah merah, tanah kapur, dll.), volume air sudah berkurang, pompa bekerja dalam air dengan batas sangat minimum/kering dalam waktu yang lama, dan 3) lilitan kumparan stator bermasalah..3. Instalasi pompa submersible standard dilengkapi  safety untuk mendeteksi kedalaman air berupa sensor electroda. Jika sensor ini dalam kondisi baik, turunnya kedalaman air dalam batas minimum akan terdeteksi, dan automatis memutus power ke motor.

Beberapa teknisi kadang hanya mengandalkan TOR ( Thermal Overload Relay ) yang terpasang pada Contactor untuk mendeteksi kondisi pompa dan kedalaman air. Biasanya logika yang dipakai, saat kedalaman air berada dalam batas minimum, motor akan berputar dalam kondisi kering, ini akan menyebabkan kenaikan temperature motor dan ampere motor. Kenaikan dalam batas setting ampere pada TOR akan menyebabkan Contactor memutus hubungan power.
Namun teknik ini sangat tidak disarankan, prinsipnya kedalaman air tanah harus dideteksi dengan sensor yang mendeteksi kondisi langsung. Dalam jangka panjang penggunaan setting ampere pada TOR menyebabkan lilitan stator bermasalah ( short ).

4. Perhatikan  debit air, jika semburan awal tinggi kemudian melemah, kemungkinan besar volume air dalam sumur  berkurang. Jika semburannya lemah mulai dari awal motor running, ini tanda-tanda problem dari motor.
5. Angkat pompa submersible ke permukaan. Periksa kondisi fisik, adakah benda asing yang menghambat putaran shaft atau impeler. Kami pernah temui tali rafia terlilit, entah dari mana datangnya makhluk ini.

6. Cek ulang Level  kedalaman air dengan menggunakan tali ber-pemberat. Ukur  kedalaman air dan  jarak permukaan ke dasar. Saya juga pernah temui, sumur yang longsor dibagian dasarnya, kemungkinan struktur tanah labil atau efek getaran  gempa. inormasi ini penting saat penempatan titik pompa dan setting posisi sensor electroda.

7. Jika anda yakin tidak ada masalah dengan volume air dalam sumur. Fokuslaah untuk perbaiki pompa
8. Jika anda merasa yakin untuk melakukan cleaning, berilah tanda terlebih dahulu sepanjang bodi casing penutup impeler, untuk memastikan posisi pasang seperti awal. Buka impeller satu persatu, cuci lalu pasang kembali. Setelah itu buka impeller  berikutnya.
9. Periksa kondisi impeller, dan shaft. Jika sudah aus atau cacat , catat Type pompa submersible anda, lalu  dapatkan parts original di suplier resmi.

10. Cek tahanan lilitan kumparan pada rotor, jika tahanan menunjukkan nilai yang rendah, menunjukkan kumparan bermasalah, misal bocor. Jika anda menemui masalah ini, saya sarankan untuk mengganti dengan pompa yang baru.

11. Jika sudah  selesai cleaning dan pompa dirakit kembali. Test terlebih dahulu didalam bak air, debit air keluar dan ampere motor.

12. Jika tidak ada perubahan, jangan diteruskan eksperimen anda. Segera hubungi  Service Pompa resmi dan terpercaya. Setelah selesai service, minta pompa ditest kembali dan lihat ampere motor saat running. Jika masih cukup tingggi ( >10 A ), jangan diterima. Perbaikan belum  complete.
Saya rekomendasikan pemasangan dilakukan oleh  petugas service, ini penting jika anda ingin mendapat garansi perbaikan
13. Bersiaplah untuk kecewa, jika pompa submersible anda tidak dapat di repair.  Solusinya hanya satu, beli baru. Ini yang terjadi satu tahun lalu, tanpa rasa bersalah, si tukang service bilang seharusnya kami menservice pompa secara rutin dengan perhitungan  satu paket. Angkat, Cleaning, dan pasang kembali.  Saran yang aneh, bukannya  kami pakai submersible supaya biaya perawatannya murah ?

Description/design

 

Axial submersible pump as submersible monobloc unit for stationary wet installation

Hydraulics

The angle of the propeller/impeller blades can be adjusted by hand. This makes it possible to adapt the unit to use in different conditions.

Motor

Dry motors (T motors) give off their heat directly to the surrounding fluid via the housing components and can be used in immersed state for permanent operation.

A sealing chamber protects the motor from fluid ingress. It can be accessed from the outside and can be monitored with an optional sealing chamber electrode.

All filling fluids used are potentially biodegradable and environmentally safe.

The cable inlet of the T motors is longitudinally watertight. Cable lengths can be individually configured.

Sealing

Fluid-side and motor-side sealing is possible in the following versions depending on the motor type:

  • Version G: Two independently operating mechanical seals
  • Version K: Block seal cartridge with two independently operating mechanical seals
